Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 2026

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you create an account, connect a WordPress website, or contact us for support. This includes your name, email address, and WordPress site credentials.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our services, process transactions, send you technical notices and support messages, and respond to your comments and questions.

3. Data Storage and Security

We take reasonable measures to help protect information about you from loss, theft, misuse, and unauthorized access. Your WordPress credentials are encrypted at rest using industry-standard encryption.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not share your personal information with third parties except as described in this policy. We may share information with AI providers (such as OpenAI) to process content generation requests, but this data is not retained by those providers for training purposes.

5. Cookies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track activity on our service and hold certain information. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access, update, or delete your personal information at any time through your account settings. You may also request a copy of the data we hold about you.

7. Shopify App Data

When you install SEO God from the Shopify App Store and authorize it via OAuth, we access your shop's products, collections, pages, and blog articles through Shopify's Admin API in order to import your catalogue and publish AI-generated FAQs and blog content back to your store. We store your shop domain and an encrypted access token, and we do not access Shopify customer personal data (names, emails, order history) at all. Uninstalling the app revokes our access token immediately; we permanently delete all stored data for your shop within 48 hours of uninstall, in response to Shopify's mandatory shop/redact webhook.

8. Contact Us
